We begin this
transmission with the piece Maghreb cosmos by the Spanish multiethnic band Sinouj, which is led by the
saxophonist Pablo Hernandez. We immediately played the song Bagh mein kali Khili performances by the voice of singer Asha Boshle,
recognized as the voice of many soundtracks performed in Bollywood films, she
has participated in more than 950 films since 1943.
From the U.S., we
witnessed the American musical genre, which is their version of our northern songs;
we are talking about the country gender of John Hurt, better known as
Mississippi. From America to Europe with the French electro pop duo Stereo
Total and its creation; Everybody in the
discotheque.
From the land of
Bob Marley, we listen A sunny dub, by the musician and leader of Tubby's Hometown Hi-Fi
at the time; King Tubby, Jamaican electronics and sound engineer known for his
influence on the development of dub music in the decades of 1960 and 1970. Tubby
was murdered on February 6th, 1989 outside his home in Duhaney Park, when he
came home from his studio in Waterhouse.
Drums, with
oruendos from Jamaican, the drummers Ginger Baker and Tony Allen, as part of
the album Live! recorded in 1971 by
Fela Kuti. After that we enjoyed Oumou
Sangare, Malian singer and songwriter of the genus Wassoulou.
We finish this show
with the interpretation of Bowery mood, the Rumani Vladimir Cosma, a Romanian composer,
violinist, pianist and conductor. Chuva
interpreted by the voice of the most popular fado singer from Portugal; Mariza. Knot of place and
time by Jan Garbarek, a Norwegian jazz
musician, flutist, tenor saxophonist and soprano, and Latin Latón by the king of the anarcocumbia; Chico Che.
