Hola a tod@s, ya está todo listo para la realización de la Feria Internacional del Libro 2013, además está todo preparado para la serie de conciertos que hemos preparado para ti. El programa se titula Empatía Musical 2013 y tiene un concierto diferente cada día. Artistas de la frontera Tijuana-San Diego, grupos representativos de la UABC, el gran trovador Fernando Delgadillo, Juan Cirerol y otros excelentes artistas. World Music

He is remembered as "The Voice", or "The man who even sings underwater". We took off the floor to get to dance with the father of the salsa, the Puerto Rican, Hector Lavoe, who performed El Cantante, a song composed by Ruben Blades who sings for "a life of laughter and sorrow, of bad moments and good things."

There is a song that just wraps the eardrum in silk, we talk about the Brazilian piece; Waters of March, written by the musician Antonio Carlos Jobim and performed with all the delicacy and coquetry on Earth by the native of Porto Alegre, Elis Regina.

Directly of the grandfather's phonograph, we delight and incidentally remember the blood that has gone to the afterlife, with the bolero Puente de Piedra by the quartet Trio Vegabajeño, although composed by the Spanish, Carmelo Larrea.

Danza la Barbacoa is a traditional Colombian dance that resorts to the genre called bambuco, born from the pre-Columbian indigenous rhythms of the Colombian Andes.

Bethe Bethe Kese Kese, is a song by the Pakistani; Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, who accompanied by the Italian musician; Gaudí, performed with the rhythm of dub, a song that surely transported to one another listener from the university to most pleasant places.

Yoruba Andabo is a rumba band originated from Havana, Cuba. The group is composed by Matias Geovany del Pino; director and singer. Juan Campos, Regla Monet, Ronald Gonzalez, Demian Dia and Jorge Luis Hernandez; singers. Orlando Lage, Julio Cesar Lemoine, Michael Herrera and Didiel Acosta; percussionists. Jennyselt Galata, Zulema Pedroso, Alberto Vidiaux and Pedro Lazaro Monteagudo; dancers. 

La Compañía has its origins in the docks of La Havana, in 1961, when a group of workers met at parties and art events. They created the Guaguancó Marítimo Portuario, set that, in 1985, began a professional career with the name Yoruba Andabo.

From that moment, it offered its art in various activities of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC for its acronym in Spanish), it worked with the record company EGREM, by initiative of the composer and singer: Pablo Milanés, and shared the stage with folk singer Merceditas Valdés.

Currently, the company integrates 16 artists, including singers, percussionists and dancers. The cast grows the different musical genres that make up the African roots of Cuban culture and those include the cycles Congo, Yoruba, Abakuá and the called rumba complex, with its traditional rhythms, especially the yambú, guaguancó and the columbia, but also include fusion elements with other musical genres, creating voices and contemporary sounds.

Musiques du monde

Nous écoutons musique de haute qualité seulement en «Música del Mundo». Nous avons commencé ce programme de la fin de semaine et d´antépénultième vendredi de ce 2012 avec deux rythmes emblématiques de la musique mexicaine. Le premier, la fanfare sinaloense et sa chanson «El zopilote mojado», une partie du répertoire de la Fanfare Sinaloense Hermanos Escamilla. Postérieurement, nous avons écouté au ce qui est originaire de Mexicali qui utilise comme il veut le «folk norteño»  Juan Cicerol avec la chanson «Eres tan cruel», inclus dans son album «Haciendo Leña» (2011). Ensuite, encore au Mexique, aux latitudes zapotèques exactement  avec le son «La Martiniana», de compositeur et poète originaire de Oaxaca Andrés Henestrosa, qui  est phonétiste  la langue zapotèque pour la transcription au alphabet latin.

Les vendredis sont pour danser, ce pour ca que ce bloc acoustique ce parfait pour faire play  au ce recueil d´adrénaline. De la Colombie le groupe de musique fusion et tecnocumbia Bomba Estéreo avec la chanson «Ponte bomb», un reprise de la des années 1990 «Pump up the jam» du groupe belge de house et dance Technotronic. Après, dès Cuba, le rythme qui s´appelle «columbia» que est une des formes de la rumba cubana, la chanson «A María Rafaela» avec le groupe que a été crée en 1961 Yoruba Andabo. Finalement, dès la république du Mali le thème «Kanawa», a la voix du chanteur et guitariste de musique ethnique Habib Koite avec le groupe africain Bamada.

 Nous avons baissé l´intensité avec le groupe irlandaise de musique celtique que a été fondé an 1963, Chieftains, avec la chanson «Lily of the best». Ce groupe irlandaise a lancé l´album San Patricio en 2010 pour rendre hommage au bataillon homonyme qui s´a battré de même que l´armée Mexicaine dans la guère contre les Etats Unis de 1846 à 1848. Des connues interprètes mexicaines ont faire partie dans cet album, comme Lila Downs, Los Tigres del Norte  et Chavela Vargas, celui qui vient de mourir.   

Cette fois-ci, un bloc acoustique et électrique avec le groupe américain du rock progressif Skye et la chanson «Powerful». Ensuite nous nous sommes bien amusés avec deux pièces du flamenco, la première s´appelle «Las palmeras» à la voix de la chanteuse espagnole Martirio, qui est connu a cause de faire une fusion la copla andaluza et le flamenco avec un peu de jazz, tango, rock et guaracha. Pour finir, la chanson «Nostalgias» de l´album Buika (2006), de la chanteuse afro-espagnole Concha Buika. Pour changer un peu, nous avons finisses ce set en méditent avec  «Passages», exécuté par le joueur de cithare Ravi Shankar et le compositeur américain de musique minimaliste Phillip Glass.

Dans ce dernier bloc avec beaucoup du rythme. Le compte à rebours est au rythme de salsa nous avons écouté «Panamericana», interprété par un des meilleures représentantes d´haut  saxophone, Paquito de Rivera, le cubain vive à New Jersey. Après, dès japon avec le rythme de «Perfect future» du groupe de ska japonaise, Tokio Ska Paradise Orchestra. Au antépénultième lieu, le pianiste du jazz, le dominicain Michel Camilo et sa mélodie «Suite». Finalement, «Born in chicago», avec The Blues Brothers; et pour finir, « Homenaje Elio Reve » avec une des plus legendaries orchestres cubaines, Maravillas de Florid

Nous avons commencé cette semaine avec musique de la région sur de Mexique : «Shunashi huini», un thème du groupe originaire d´ Istmo de Tehuantepec, Fórmula 7; «Aventurera», a la voix de l´interprète de boléros, Agustín Lara, née à Tlacotalpan, Veracruz, le 1 octobre de 1900; «Agárrate de la brocha», de Manuel «El Negro» Peregrino, frère de la femme originaire de Veracruz Antonieta Del Carmen, mieux connu comme «Toña la Negra» qui pendant sa carrière musicale avait interprétée tous jours chansons d´Agustín Lara, le «Flaco de Oro».

Des bonnes vibrations et bonnes danses. Dés Panama nous nous sommes amusés avec la chanson «Descarga caliente» du musicien Rubén Blades. Du Tabasco, Chico Che et son groupe La Crisis, le thème «Damos la bienvenida», et de la Cuba, le jazz «Riqueza y valor», avec le groupe Cabo Cuba Jazz.

Une mosaïque de chansons de tout le monde. Du groupe portoricaine, Trío Vegabajeno,  «Cantares de navidad». «La pelona», folklore afro-péruvien, avec Nicomedes Santa Cruz.   La chanson «Sonet» avec le saxophoniste et jazziste roumaine, Dan Mandrila. Ensuite, «It's time» du compositeur, chanteuse et pianiste de blues, soul et hard rock qui a été née à New Jersey, Nona Hendryx. La chanson «Want fi charge mi», avec l´interprète du reggae Gramps Morgan. «Summer song», avec le guitariste du rock instrumental, l´américain Joe Satrani. Et «Dusty»  du groupe originaire de Nashville, Tenesse, Kings Of Leon ; que a été crée en 1999 à Nashville, Tenesse.

Cumbia, guitare mexicaine, musique fusion, musique populaire vénézolane et folk norteño. « No me vuelvo a enamorar», du rockeur de la cumbia, Rigo Tovar.  Le medley mexicain,  «La Adelita», «La Valentina» et «Viva México», avec  Antonio Bibriesca, qui est nommé «La guitarra de México». «Como pequeña gota de rocío», du chanteur et compositeur Simón Díaz. «Fiesta calor», des originaires de Mexicali, Son de Palo. «Totoumo», du guitariste de Senegales, Diabel Cissokho et le guitariste de blues, l´anglais Ramon Goose. Et finalement, aussi de Mexicali, le roi du ranchero punk, Juan Cicerol et sa chanson «La banqueta».

Desde Finlandia

Hoy hemos recibido un correo electrónico notificando que han escuchado la frecuencia de UABC Radio de Tijuana (1630 de amplitud modulada), la escucharon en Laponia Finlandia un lugar bastante al norte de aquel país y del mundo diría yo.

@Jarmo y @Vesa son quienes firman el correo electrónico donde mencionan que son "finlandeses monitoreando regularmente estaciones de radio de países distantes"; ellos lograron sintonizar nuestra estación el 27 de noviembre de 2012. Esta anécdota la compartí por correo con los productores e ingenieros de la radio, quienes se han puesto felices de recibir esta noticia por venir de un país tan lejano.

El Ingeniero @Alfredo Cañas quien es el responsable técnico de la estación en Ensenada (95.5 de frecuencia modulada) da contexto al mensaje y comenta la importancia de este tipo de retroalimentación en el contexto de la comunicación global, de la red de redes, de la globalización. El ingeniero hace incapié en:

Nunca menos preciar algún sistema de comunicación  por antigua que parezca su tecnología,  las comunicaciones terrestres vía la onda espacial por saltos, es decir, que dan la vuelta al mundo rebotando espacio-tierra, deben conservarse; porque es un activo que no sabemos cuando pueda necesitarse, aun con el internet y la comunicación satélital,  y sin ánimo de catastrofismos, las nuevas redes son maravillosas, pero también suceptibles de colapsar, y en un apagón digital, las comunicaciones terrestres de onda larga y onda corta, podrían ser un recurso único y muy apreciado y por lo tanto aquellas personas que siguen estas transmisones, como nuestro radioescucha de UABC Radio, amerita una carta de reconocimiento   por darse el tiempo para comunicarlo, así que un saludo y respuesta es lo menos que corresponde, ya que eso los motiva a seguir pendientes de este tipo de emisiones lejanas.

UABC Radio a menudo recibo por correo postal o por electrónico este tipo de notificaciones, gente alrededor del mundo interesados en la comunicación global, en el gusto de identificar voces lejanas. @Jarmo y @Vesa comentan al final de su correo electrónico que es duro el trabajo de colocar y mantener anteas en aquel lugar, pero que sin duda disfrutan mucho de lo que están haciendo. World Music

We only listen the highest quality melodies in "World Music". We started this closing week show and this penultimate Friday of 2012 with two emblematic rhythms of Mexican music. We begin with Sinaloa band and the melody El zopilote mojado of the repertoire of Banda Sinaloense Hermanos Escamilla. Then we listened to Juan Cirerol from Mexicali, who handled the "northern folk", with the song Eres tan cruel, included on his album " Haciendo Leña " (2011). We continue in Mexico, exactly the Zapotec latitudes with the song La Martiniana, by the composer and poet from Oaxaca: Andrés Henestrosa, who among his contributions, he has also studied the Zapotec language and transcribed the Latin alphabet.

Fridays are for dancing, so for this segment is believed suitable to play this bunch of adrenaline. In Colombia, we hear the tecnocumbia and fusion music group Bomba Estéreo with the song Ponte bomb, cover of Pump up the jam from the 90s by the House and Dance Belgian band; Technotronic. After, from Cuba, we hear A Maria Rafaela in the rhythm called "Columbia", one of the forms of Cuban rumba, and the group formed in 1961: Yoruba Andabo. Finally we traveled to the Republic of Mali with the song Kanawa, by the voice of the singer and guitarist of ethnic music: Habib Koite, accompanied by the African band Bamada.

We lowered the intensity with the Irish Celtic music band founded in 1963: Chieftains, and the melody Lily of the best. In 2010, this Irish traditional music band released the album San Patricio, with which honored the anonymous battalion that fought alongside the Mexican army in the war against the United States from 1846 to 1848. Renowned Mexicans artists participated in that album like Lila Downs, Los Tigres del Norte and the recently deceased Chavela Vargas.

We started an eclectic acoustic sound with the American progressive rock group Skye and the song Powerful.  Then we enjoyed two Flemish songs; the first is titled Las palmeras  by the voice of the Spanish singer Martirio, who is known for fusing the Andalusian copla and flamenco, with a touch of jazz, tango, rock and guaracha. Finally we travel with Nostalgias, which is part of the album Buika (2006), by the Afro-Spanish singer Concha Buika. And to give a twist, we closed this segment meditating with Passages, performed by the musician and sitar player Ravi Shankar and the American minimalist music composer Phillip Glass.

In the last segment, the fire was not absent. In countdown and following the salsa rhythm we listened Panamericana, played by one of the greatest exponents of the tenor saxophone, the Cuban resident of New Jersey, Paquito de Rivera. After Japan we danced to the rhythm of Perfect future by the Japanese ska band: Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra. In the penultimate place, we received the visit of the jazz Dominican pianist Michel Camilo with the melody Suite. To conclude, we listened Born in Chicago by The Blues Brothers and finally Homenaje Elio Reve, one of the most legendary Cuban bands, Maravillas de Florida.

World Music

Nous commençons avec un set de cinq chansons, la premier au rythme de

flamenco, «Coquinas» à la voix de l´auteur-compositeur espagnole Estrella Morente.

D´après, la chanson «Guelel» du sénégalais, guitariste et compositeur de worldbeat,

Baaba Maal Yela. Au troisième lieu, nous nous amusons «La taberna del buda», du groupe

espagnol du rock pop formé par les frères Manuel, Óscar y Raúl Quijano; Café Quijano.

Au pénultième lieu, pour fermer ce cadre acoustique, les musiciennes et poètes urbaines

Calle 13 avec sa chanson de sorte social «Calma pueblo». Et au dernier lieu, une chanson

qui a été composé á ce qui était «le 11» d´équipe brésilien de «Clubes de Regatas do

Flamenco», après marquer un but stratégique au club Benfica, Filho maravilla, réalisé par

le brésilien Jorge Ben Jor, musicien qui passe entre la samba, le funk, le bossa nova et le

rap.

Cuba, le «continent noir» et sa production musicale splendide ne peut jamais être

absente. Des la republique insulare nous écoutons «Chichi 2010»,

d´orchestre Elio Reve et son Charangón, l'un des groupes musicaux les plus prestigieux à

Cuba et dans le monde. Par la suite, la République de Gambie Dawda Jobarteh entendre le

musicien, l'un des meilleurs interprètes de l'instrument à cordes qui est appelé Kora, une

sorte de harpe et le luth d'Afrique occidentale. Il a entendu le chant des Pholus Karang,

qui appartient à son album Northern Light Gambian Night (2011).

Le Mexicain Jaime Lopez est le créateur de l'une des meilleures chansons et les plus

connues de la bande Café Tacuba, qui ont fait une autre version de la chanson entraînante

du groupe Chilanga Banda. Nous avons entendu la chanson de ce chanteur, qui s´appelle

«Malafacha». Lopez est considéré comme l'un des terrains de roche essentiel aztèque,

mais a également créé la coupe chansons tropicales, éleveur, blues et boléro. Le 16 Août,

1985 a participé au Festival OTI avec la chanson «Blue Demon Blues», l'un des quelques

chansons mexicaines dédiés à ce sport.

Tous les genres musicaux s'insérer dans un tasse en savant l´aménager. Nous ouvrions

ce bloc musical avec la chanson «Pa salí con nada», d´Alex Gomez, l'un des artistes les

plus représentatifs et les multiples facettes scène artistique espagnole. D´après, Songo

Changüí avec l´Américaine Rebeca Mauleon, compositeur, pianiste et auteur de salsa et

de musique afro-antillaise. De Memphis, Tennessee nous gâtons avec un peu d'énergie

avec la chanson «R-E-S-P-E-C-T», la voix de la chanteuse de soul, R & B et le gospel,

Aretha Franklin, surnommée "Lady Soul". Nous suivons avec « El amor de jibarito» , avec

le groupe portoricaine

Ricardo Aguirre, qui était un chanteur, auteur-compositeur, musicien, pédagogue et

communicateur vénézuélien, surnommé "Le Cornemuse Monumental".

Vers la fin de cette émission nous écoutons deux fois au Brésil, d'abord avec la

chanson «Eu te amo» , création des compositeurs et chanteurs Tom Jobim et Chico

Buarque, bien que nous la jouissons dans la voix de l'interprète bossa nova et la samba,

Ana Carolina. Ensuite, «Na baixa do sapateiro» ne avec des guitares jazz et choreras Marco

Pereira et Hamilton de Hollande.

Pour fermer ce programme, le rythme de ska avec le groupe britannique The Specials. Ce

groupe a été formé en 1977 à Coventry, en Angleterre. Au début erré entre ska, punk et

pop, pour finalement fusionner et créer le style connu comme 2 Tone. De leur que nous

entendons la chanson «Ghost Town».

World Music

We started with a set of five songs, the first one represented ​​flamenco rhythm with the song Coquinas, by the voice of the Spanish singer; Estrella Morente. Then we continued with the song   Guelel, by the Senegalese, guitarist and songwriter of worldbeat; Baaba Maal Yela. In the third position we enjoyed La taberna del buda, by the Spanish rock band formed by the pop brothers Manuel, Óscar y Raúl Quijano; Café Quijano. In the penultimate position, to finish this acoustic season, we presented the musicians and urban poets; Calle 13 and their social song, Calma pueblo and finally, we listened the song that was composed by "a 11" Brazilian team from " Clubes de Regatas do Flamenco ", after setting a strategic goal against Benfica club, Filho maravilla, conducted by the Brazilian Jorge Ben Jor, a musician who plays samba, funk, bossa nova and rap.

Cuba, the called "black continent" and its splendid musical production can never be absent. From the republic sister island we heard Chichi 2010, by the choir master Elio Reve and his Charangón, one of the most prestigious musical groups in Cuba and the world. Subsequently, from the Republic of Gambia, we listened to the musician Dawda Jobarteh, one of the best performers of a stringed instrument called Kora, a kind of harp and lute from West Africa. We hear his song Karang Folo, which belongs to his album Northern Light Gambian Night (2011).

The Mexican Jaime Lopez, creator of one of the best known songs by the band Café Tacuba, changed back the catchy song Chilanga Banda.  We listened his song; Malafacha. Lopez is considered essential of rock from Aztec land, but also he has created tropical songs, rancher, blues and bolero. On August 16, 1985 he participated in the OTI Festival with the song Blue Demon Blues, one of the few Mexican songs dedicated to this sport.

All musical genres fit into a mug if you know how to accommodate them. We opened this musical segment with the song; Pa salí con nada by Alex Gomez, one of the most representative and multifaceted artists from the Spanish art scene. Then we presented Songo Changüí   by the American Rebeca Mauleon, composer, pianist and writer of salsa and Afro-Caribbean music. From Memphis, Tennessee, we pamper us a little with the energetic song; RESPECT , by the voice of the soul, R & B and gospel singer; Aretha Franklin, nicknamed "Lady Soul". We continued with El amor del jibarito by the Puerto Rican Trio, Vegabajeno, and finished with the Venezuelan Bambuco , Ricardo Aguirre, who was a Venezuelan singer, songwriter, musician, teacher and broadcaster, nicknamed " El Monumental de la Gaita".

Towards the end of this show, we presented Brazil once again, first with the song Eu te amo, creation of composers and singers Tom Jobim and Chico Buarque, although we enjoyed it by the bossa nova and samba interpreter's voice, Ana Carolina. Then we listened to Na baixa do sapateiro by the jazz guitars and choreras of Marco Pereira and Hamilton de Holanda

We finished this show with ska rhythm by the British band; The Specials. This group was formed in 1977 in Coventry, England. At the beginning they wandered between ska, punk and pop, to finally put them together and create the style known as 2 Tone. From them, we heard the song Ghost Town.

World Music

We begin this transmission with the piece Maghreb cosmos by the Spanish multiethnic band Sinouj, which is led by the saxophonist Pablo Hernandez. We immediately played the song  Bagh mein kali Khili performances by the voice of singer Asha Boshle, recognized as the voice of many soundtracks performed in Bollywood films, she has participated in more than 950 films since 1943.

From the U.S., we witnessed the American musical genre, which is their version of our northern songs; we are talking about the country gender of John Hurt, better known as Mississippi. From America to Europe with the French electro pop duo Stereo Total and its creation; Everybody in the discotheque.

From the land of Bob Marley, we listen A sunny dub, by the musician and leader of Tubby's Hometown Hi-Fi at the time; King Tubby, Jamaican electronics and sound engineer known for his influence on the development of dub music in the decades of 1960 and 1970. Tubby was murdered on February 6th, 1989 outside his home in Duhaney Park, when he came home from his studio in Waterhouse.

Drums, with oruendos from Jamaican, the drummers Ginger Baker and Tony Allen, as part of the album Live! recorded in 1971 by Fela Kuti. After that we enjoyed Oumou Sangare, Malian singer and songwriter of the genus   Wassoulou.

We finish this show with the interpretation of Bowery mood, the Rumani Vladimir Cosma, a Romanian composer, violinist, pianist and conductor. Chuva interpreted by the voice of the most popular fado singer from Portugal; Mariza.   Knot of place and time by Jan Garbarek, a Norwegian jazz musician, flutist, tenor saxophonist and soprano, and Latin Latón by the king of the anarcocumbia;  Chico Che.

Nous commençons la transmission avec la pièce musical «Maghreb cosmos» du groupe espagnol Sinouj, qui est dirige par le saxophoniste Pablo Hernández. Dès la terre de Bob Marley nous avons écoute «A sunny dub», avec le musicien el leader à l´époque  de Tubby's Hometown Hi-Fi, King Tubby, ingénieur électronique et de son jamaïcain connu pour s´influence dans le développement de la musique dub pendant les années de 1960 et 1970. Tubby a été assassiné par balles le 6 février de 1989, dehors sa maison de Duhaney Park, quand il retournait chez-lui de son studio en Waterhouse.
