World Music


We start this week with music from the southern region of Mexico: Shunashi Huini, by the musical group from Istmo de Tehuantepec Fórmula 7, Aventurera, by the voice of the bolero: Agustin Lara, born in Tlacotalpan, Veracruz, on October 1st, 1900; Agárrate de la brocha, by Manuel " El Negro " Peregrino, brother of Antoinette Del Carmen from Veracruz, better known as "Tona La Negra" who played melodies by Agustin Lara tirelessly throughout her career, "El Flaco de Oro".
Good vibes and good dancing. In Panama we dance with the theme  Descarga caliente  by the musician Ruben Blades. From Tabasco, Chico Che and his group The Crisis, performed Damos la bienvenida.  And from Cuba; we enjoyed the jazz Riqueza y valor,  by the group Cabo Cuba Jazz.
A mosaic of songs from all the corners of the globe. Christmas songs, by the Puerto Rican group Trio Vegabajeno. La pelona, Afro-Peruvian folklore by Nicomedes Santa Cruz. Sonet, by the saxophonist and jazz player from Rumania: Dan Mandriva. It's time, by the composer, singer and pianist of blues, soul and hard rock, born in New Jersey: Nona Hendryx. Want fi charge mi by the reggae interpreter Gramps Morgan. Summer song by the instrumental rock guitarist, the American: Joe Satriani. And Dusty, by the band from Nashville, Tennessee, Kings Of Leon, a rock musicians clan founded in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1999.
Cumbia, Mexican guitar, fusion music, popular music and folk northern Venezuela. No me vuelvo a enamorar  by the cumbia rocker; Rigo Tovar. The Mexican Potpourri: La Adelita, La Valentina and Viva Mexico, by the "Mexico's guitar" Antonio Bribiesca. Como pequeña gota de rocío by the singer and songwriter: Simon Diaz.
